She Didn’t Wait to Feel Ready, And You Don’t Have To Either
When Jenny moved to Berlin with her husband and daughter, she had no German, an unfinished art degree, and no idea what her next step would be.
But what she did have was a quiet desire to keep creating — even if the path wasn’t clear yet.
We started working together during her second year in Berlin, dreaming and brainstorming ideas for how she could build something meaningful with her art. But later, she shared something with me that hit close to home:
““I wasn’t ready back then.””
And honestly? That’s okay.
Because here’s what matters most — she didn’t wait to feel ready.
Today, everything looks different.
** Jenny is running soulful art workshops and private painting sessions.
** She’s already held two solo exhibitions in Berlin, with a third one coming this October.
** She’s built a community and a creative business that reflects who she really is.
But let’s be clear: it didn’t happen overnight.
Jenny had to work through real fears — the same ones that stop so many talented creatives from starting:
“I’m not perfect enough to teach.”
“What if no one shows up?”
“Can I really make a living through art?”
And step by step, she took action anyway.
She let go of the need to be perfect.
She started showing up, even when it felt scary.
She did the inner work that so often gets overlooked — the mindset shifts, the self-trust, the courage to be seen.
Now, her workshops are more than just painting sessions.
They’re safe, soulful spaces where people come to reconnect with their creativity — and often, with themselves.
If you’ve been sitting on a creative idea — especially a workshop you’d love to offer — consider this your sign:
Start messy.
Start scared.
Just start.
There are people waiting for what you can bring to life. And you don’t have to be perfect — you just have to be present.
