One Bold Step at a Time: Building a Creative Life Without Feeling Ready
A few years ago, Marta joined one of my creative workshops in Berlin.
She had just moved to the city. She was in the middle of big life changes, full of ideas, but unsure how to turn her creativity into something tangible.
She later joined my coaching program, full of hope and curiosity.
But soon, she realized something important:
She wasn’t ready.
Not because she lacked skills or talent.
But because she needed time.
Time to rebuild trust in herself.
Time to settle.
Time to listen.
And eventually, something shifted.
She realized she might never feel completely ready.
And that’s when the magic began.
Today, Marta has:
• Led paid macrame workshops for Berlin-based companies
• Received glowing feedback from her participants
• Started building her brand and online presence — even when it feels vulnerable
• And is now dreaming of her own studio
She recently shared:
“I don’t feel super ready, and that’s exactly the point.I’m choosing to be unsure, do it anyway, and figure it out as I go.”
This is what creative courage looks like.
Not waiting for the perfect plan.
Just taking one bold, imperfect step at a time.
If you’re holding back a dream because you don’t feel "ready" yet, you’re not alone.
Feel free to share your story or thoughts in the comments.
Sometimes naming it is the first brave step.
